By popular request here is my Penguin Box tutorial.

Let's begin with a picture of the materials I have used

I will itemise everything as we use it.

We begin with a piece of Cardstock which is 7cms wide x 23 cms high - I have used Baja Breeze.

I have scored it straight across the middle first at 11.5cm

then as per picture above diagonally across all 4 sides so

as to form a diamond scored shape right around as per the

photo below. I have burnished all score lines using my

bone folder giving nice crisp fold lines.

*Notice how there is one line across and 4 score lines

forming a diamond shape. You might want to mark your

Cardstock with light pencil lines to make alignment easy.

Using the snow flake stamp from the Stampin' Up! Punch Pals Stamp set

I have literally stamped snowflakes all over the outside of my box using

Stampin' Up whisper white craft pigment ink.

I next tore some whisper white cardstock along one edge

and glued it with Snail Adhesive to the base of the box on

one side only then took my paper snips and trimmed the white

cardstock at an angle to exact size of the box

I applied Tombow Multi Glue to the centre of the snowflakes

and also along the torn edge of the white paper adding a few

swirly glue lines along the bottom so as to create dimension for

the snow as shown below.

Now onto the fun part, creating the snow

using Dazzling Diamonds. Literally cover

the wet glue and tap off excess.

Let's get started on making our Penguin now..

Adhere the white to the black oval using Snail Adhesive.

I have used the Large Oval Punch for the white tummy and

the Wide Oval Punch for the black body.

Now to make the feet and his little Beak....

I used the Boho Blossoms Punch to punch

out two Pumpkin Pie Flowers which I cut

into in order to make the little Beak and the

two little penguin feet.

Using Paper Snips I only used 2 flowers

I used the 1" Circle Punch for the black little head and the widest

heart from the Heart to Heart Punch for his little white face.

The two wings used the large oval punch and were cut as

shown below. Two little eyes were punched out using the

Eyelet Border Punch.

Everything was assembled using Tombo Multi Purpose

Adhesive.

His little red Santa hat is Real Red Cardstock punched

out with the Scallop Square Punch and I aligned it so

it's cut in one pass.

The brim of his hat was punched out of Whisper

White Cardstock using the same punch - the

Scallop Square Punch.

You might want to cut this just a fraction wider

than the actual end of the scallop so it will fully

cover the red hat when it is assembled.

Punch out a white Pom Pom from Whisper White

cardstock using the 3/4" circle punch and attach the

Pom Pom with a Stampin' Dimensional (cut down to

size). Glue the brim onto the base of the hat. Then

cover the pom pom and the brim of the hat with Tombow

Multi Purpose Adhesive.

Add some Dazzling Diamonds to really make him Glitter :)

and attach to front of box using Stampin' Dimensionals.

A quick ribbon tied in a bow is attached under his chin using

a mini glue dot, then it's simply a matter of pinching the

top of the box together and punching a hole through all

layers and threading through some Reg Gingham Ribbon and

make a bow or a longer tie if hanging up.

This would look really cute as Christmas Table

Decorations or even could be hung onto the

Christmas tree with little treats inside for the

children as a morning surprise when they wake up!
